Who is Kathleen Gage?
|
 Kathleen Gage is President and Founder of Turning Point, Inc., a
business-consulting firm dedicated to helping companies and
organizations that want the visibility to occupy space in their customer’s
mind.
With over 20 years experience in sales, marketing, management, public
relations and promotions, Kathleen has successfully developed and
implemented programs that have taken organizations that were losing
money to a position of healthy financials and increased profits. She has
worked with a variety of organizations including the Republic Mortgage,
America’s Community Bankers, U.S. Marine Corp., Novus Corporation,
AT&T and more. Her programs utilize a creative, easy to understand, no
nonsense approach to marketing and promotions.
The Power of Market Visibility
Kathleen’s expertise has enabled her to participate in a leadership and
advisory capacity for many organizations. She is past president of the
National Speakers Association Utah Chapter and past vice-chair and
marketing chair for the Central Region Council for the Department of
Workforce Services of Utah. Kathleen is currently a member of the
Legislative Advisory Council for the American Cancer Society of Utah.
Kathleen is the recipient of numerous business awards including the
1995-1996 and 1999-2000 Utah Speakers Association Speaker of the
Year, Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce Business Women's Forum
Achievement award for 1999-2000, The Leadership and
Communications 2000 Award for Toastmasters International, and the
Giant Step Award for 2004 from the Salt Lake Area Chamber of
Commerce for business innovation and success.
Kathleen is a columnist for the Enterprise newspaper, one of Utah’s
most highly respected business publications, and a member of the
Editorial Advisory Committee for the Salt Lake Tribune, the most widely
read newspaper in Utah. She has also contributed articles to several
business publications and hosted a weekly talk-radio broadcast.
She is the author of “Message of Hope, Inspirational Thoughts for
Uncertain Times” and “Workplace Miracles, Inspiring Stories and
Thoughts of Possibility.” She is also the author of the multimedia
program entitled “Street Smarts Marketing and Promotions: Success
Strategies for Marketing a Business on a Limited Budget” and “Earn
More Than Ever Before, Marketing and Promotions Success Strategies
for Today’s Real Estate Professional.” Kathleen has traveled throughout
the United States, Canada and Europe sharing her message.
