Who is Lillian Bjorseth?
|
Lillian Bjorseth helps entrepreneurs through Fortune 100 employees build high-value business relationships by honing their business development, communication, networking and sales skills.
She helps them communicate better verbally, nonverbally and through e-mail; to polish their professional presence and make polished presentations; know how to work an event, not just a room; and talk the language of their customers, peers, supervisors and top management.
The Power of Strategic Networking
Lillian has the background and experience to walk her talk. A graduate from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, she has been communicating throughout her career. At Nicor Gas, she did executive speech writing and public and investor relations. Then it was on to AT&T where she coached top executives in communication and media relations skills and created and taught her first communication class.
Since 1990, she has put her marketing skills to work for and has successfully built Duoforce Enterprises, Inc., a speaking, training and consulting business. She also founded and for 10 years owned Better Business Contacts, a business leads organization that she sold to an international marketing referral company.
Lillian is the author of Breakthrough Networking: Building Relationships That Last;
52 Ways To Break The Ice & Target Your Market, an interactive learning system; and the Nothing Happens Until We Communicate CD and workbook series. She’s a contributing author to Masters of Networking.
Lillian is among the first people in the world working to become an Inscape Certified DiSC Trainer, obtaining the designation the first time it is being offered.
A long-time member of the National Speakers Association, she was honored by the Illinois chapter for her “unrelenting enthusiasm and commitment to the speaking profession.” She’s past chair of the Naperville IL Chamber of Commerce’s Trainers & Consultants Connection, which cited her for taking the group “from ground zero to a highly respected committee.”
Lillian has received numerous awards for her public relations work and authorships. She was named an Influential Woman in Business by the Business Ledger and the Chicago Chapter of the National Assn. of Women Business Owners and is listed in Who’s Who in the Media and Communications, Outstanding People in the 20th Century, 2000 Notable American Women, The Dictionary of International Biography, International Who’s Who of Professional and Business Women, The National Registrar of Who’s Who in Professionals and Executives, and Who’s Who in Executives.
